The Most Popular RC Racing Series in San Antonio returns this year for the 4rd time.
We often get asked where the name of this series came from; here’s the story.
This is Doc. When he’s not sawing on horses, he’s winning races
So one day Doc asked why we don’t have a series? No one could come up with an answer or a good name. He suggested we should start one … and the Series was born.
But more importantly, when a man uses tools like this for a living – we tend to do what he says.

Awards
1-3 given in all classes and presented at the RCHQ New Years Eve Party. That’s 27 chances to get an award!
Calculations
3 Pts per Place – 100 for 1st, 97 for 2nd, 94 for 3rd etc
2 Pts attendance per Race – Max of 10pts
2 drop races – finals are regular points
Classes may be run together during the races (split where possible), ie if the Buggies all run together – the 1st sportsman buggy will get 100 pts even if he finished 5th in the race.
We always have some nice trophies for this event and the best part is the banquet after it’s all over. It’s a great celebration!
