Short Course Racing is popular, fun, and fast. The full bodies on these trucks allows for much closer racing than their open-wheel counterparts making for hyper-competitive racing. They are also extremely durable making them a great choice for the entry-level racer and enthusiast. This our Annual Race that Features these Realistic Trucks.
Quick Facts: The 4wd class is pretty hot at RCHQ these days. We have a solid group of drivers all running pretty close together, so it could be any bodies race. Looking forward to a good turn out of 2wd SC trucks and we really like to see some Novice/Beginner drivers running for their first trophy!
Featured (trophy) Classes are:
Expert 2wd SC
Novice 2wd SC
Expert 4wd SC
Sportsman 4wd SC
Signup Closes at 11:30am and Racing Starts at Noon
Anyone who has not signed up by 11:30 will miss the first Qualifier
Entry fee is $15 for all Featured Classes
Race format is: 3 qualifiers and at least 7 minute mains (we’ll go over options in the driver’s meeting)
We supply House Transponders for anyone without a personal transponder at no extra charge. We have RC4 hybrid transponders for sale in the store.
Power is limited in the pits and some racers are very good about sharing their power. Bring a generator if you have one, or plan to charge from your car battery or jump box. We do have a spare generator in the store, so if you’re in a jam for power let us know and we can work something out.
We transmit on FM, so bring along a FM radio if you’d like to be able to hear more clearly (we don’t blast our PA).
All other classes are welcome to run and normal entry fee apply.
We had a great time at the race. Attendance was just about perfect, the competition was fierce, and everyone seemed to have a really good time. Best part for us was we had a bunch of new drivers and novices! Here are your winners:
Not seeing a lot of Smack talk for this race. Y’all do remember it’s happening this coming Saturday right? Who’s gonna take it?

So yall know BW is gonna be running 2wd sct , and I’m gonna bring it, so be ready for a show lol
Robbie you were right. New paint is faster. You need to shave another second now
I’m about 3 seconds a lap behind the fast guys in 4wd SC, but I have a plan: Practicing should gain me about a second, setup should get me another, and then another second of luck and I’m getting a trophy.
OK lets get the smack talking going on this virgin website.
