That was a great format for a race.  It made the qualifiers very exciting and it was really important to do well in them.  Everyone got all the run time they wanted and all-in-all it was a very good day of racing.

It is Time to Make Some Noise, Our Yearly Nitro Feature Race is this Weekend 5/30/15!    Don’t have a Nitro?  Well, there’s still plenty of time to buy one, or new for this year we’re letting the Electric run too.

The Format:

There will be no Expert or Sportsman in each class, everyone runs together for an equal chance to get to the A-Mains and only the top 12 from Qualifying will advance.  There will be no Bump-ups.

Nitro Buggy:

A-Main will be two 30 Minute Mains

B-Main will be two 15 Minute Mains

C-Main will be two 10 Minute Mains

So you’ll still get in a lot of racing even if you don’t make the A.  Also B-Main drivers will only have to marshal one of the 30 Minute A-Mains.  Store employees and volunteers will marshal the other one.

The other two classes are Nitro Truggy and Nitro/Gas Truck.  We’ll figure out the length of those mains when we see the turnout and how long the program will be, but they will be at least 15 minutes long.
